- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and sliced mushrooms, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the beef broth, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the beef mixture into a baking dish.
- Spread the mashed potatoes on top of the beef mixture evenly.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and the top is slightly golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with a simple side salad or hot sauce for added flavor. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to three days.
