Chewy apple brownies with cinnamon and walnuts. A perfect fall dessert that’s simple, cozy, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups light brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

2 tsp ground cinnamon

2 medium apples, peeled and finely chopped

½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan.

2. Whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.

3. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

4. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon; add to wet mixture.

5. Fold in chopped apples and walnuts.

6. Spread batter evenly in pan.

7. Bake 35–40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

8. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Use Granny Smith apples for tartness or Honeycrisp for sweetness.

Add caramel drizzle or serve with vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
