- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup M&M’s
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, brown the butter over medium heat until it turns golden and has a nutty aroma. Let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and browned butter.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the M&M’s.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
