Ingredients
8 oz Lo Mein noodles (or spaghetti)
1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup bell pepper, sliced
½ cup shredded carrots
2 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sesame oil to prevent sticking.
2. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce in a small bowl to create the sauce base.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan.
4. Add garlic, peppers, carrots, and broccoli to the same pan. Stir-fry until crisp-tender.
5. Return chicken and noodles to the pan. Pour in the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
6. Finish with green onions and an extra drizzle of sesame oil. Serve hot.
Notes
You can substitute spaghetti for Lo Mein noodles if needed.
To make it spicy, add chili oil or crushed red pepper flakes.
Leftovers keep well for 3 days in the fridge and taste even better the next day.
