- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Shred the chicken in the sauce and serve it over the cooked angel hair pasta.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley, if desired.
Notes
For added richness, stir in some cream cheese to the sauce before serving. You can also add vegetables like mushrooms or spinach for extra nutrients.
