Ingredients

2 lbs frozen or homemade meatballs

2 large onions, thinly sliced

3 cups beef broth

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp thyme

1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Melt butter in a skillet and caramelize onions with garlic and thyme.

2. Add meatballs, onions, broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the crockpot.

3. Cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.

4. Top with cheese before serving and let it melt.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes or rice for a hearty meal.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
