Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, hot sauce, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
  4. Flatten each biscuit into a circle and place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Place the filled buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
