Delicious sliders with savory roast beef, gooey cheese, and caramelized onions, served warm with au jus for dipping.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb roast beef
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 8 oz cheese (Swiss or provolone)
  • 1 cup au jus (for dipping)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the caramelized onions until golden brown.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  4. Layer the roast beef, caramelized onions, and cheese on the bottoms of the buns.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns on, brush the tops with melted butter, and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  7. Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Use high-quality roast beef for the best flavor. Don’t rush the caramelization of the onions; cooking them slowly brings out their natural sweetness.
