- 1 lb roast beef
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup caramelized onions
- 8 oz cheese (Swiss or provolone)
- 1 cup au jus (for dipping)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the caramelized onions until golden brown.
- Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Layer the roast beef, caramelized onions, and cheese on the bottoms of the buns.
- Place the top halves of the buns on, brush the tops with melted butter, and sprinkle with garlic powder.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
- Serve warm with au jus for dipping.
Notes
Use high-quality roast beef for the best flavor. Don’t rush the caramelization of the onions; cooking them slowly brings out their natural sweetness.
