Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
