Ingredients

- 6 slices of bread
- 1 cup thinly shredded cheese
- 6 thinly sliced ham (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Trim the crust off the bread.
- Roll the bread flat using a rolling pin.
- Add the shredded cheese on top and optional ham.
- Roll it up tightly and use toothpicks if necessary to hold it together.
- Heat a skillet to medium or medium-low and add the butter.
- Place the roll-ups in the pan and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, turning periodically until they brown evenly.
- Remove from the skillet and cut in half if desired. Serve warm!
Notes
For a sweet version, add cream cheese and fruit preserves instead of cheese and ham.
