Festive Grinch Oreo Balls made with Red Velvet Oreos and a vibrant green candy coating, perfect for holiday celebrations.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 24 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Red Velvet Oreos (22 cookies)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 7 oz green candy melts
  • Red heart sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs form.
  3. Add in the cream cheese and mix again until a soft dough forms.
  4. Using a tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out the dough and roll it between your palms. Place each ball on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all dough is used.
  5. Chill the balls in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy melts in 30-second increments, stirring in between. If the candy melts aren’t thin enough to dip, add 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil or any unflavored oil and mix well.
  7. Using a chocolate dipping fork, dip each truffle ball into the melted candy, coating it evenly. Place the coated truffle back on the baking sheet and repeat with the remaining truffles.
  8. Place the leftover candy melts in a piping bag and drizzle over the truffles. Immediately add a red heart sprinkle on top to create the iconic Grinch heart.
  9. Allow the truffles to set in the fridge for a few minutes, then enjoy!

Notes
