Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package cocktail rye bread

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and pork sausage over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked meats, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Spread a spoonful of the mixture onto each slice of cocktail rye bread.
  5. Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden.
