  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (for glaze)
  • Lemon zest (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, mixing until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  5. Stir in lemon zest and juice.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth, then drizzle over cooled brownies.
  8. Garnish with additional lemon zest if desired.
