- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, milk, and melted butter. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Add lemon juice and zest, and stir to combine.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
Notes
Add a pinch of cinnamon for a flavor twist. Try lime juice for a different zing or top with fresh berries before baking.
