A fun and easy way to create charming pizza roses, perfect for Valentine’s Day and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 68 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1218 slices pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Open the pizza dough can and unroll it onto a clean surface. Slice the dough into six long strips, about 1-2 inches wide.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce across each strip, leaving a small border along the edges.
  5. Cut mozzarella cheese into slices that fit comfortably along the length of the dough strips. Layer over the marinara sauce.
  6. Arrange pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, with half of each slice hanging off the edge.
  7. Roll each strip of dough into a tight rose shape, tucking the ends underneath.
  8. Place each rolled pizza rose in the muffin tin.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or a drizzle of olive oil if desired.

Notes

These pizza roses can be customized with different sauces and toppings. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
