- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup creamy mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the crushed pretzels, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, mix the flour.
- In a third dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the pretzel mixture.
- Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- While the chicken is baking, mix the cheddar cheese and mustard together.
- Serve the pretzel chicken drizzled with the mustard-cheddar sauce.
Notes
Serve hot, and pair with a fresh side salad or mashed potatoes.
