Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup creamy mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the crushed pretzels, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, mix the flour.
  4. In a third dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the pretzel mixture.
  6. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  8. While the chicken is baking, mix the cheddar cheese and mustard together.
  9. Serve the pretzel chicken drizzled with the mustard-cheddar sauce.
