  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the strawberries and let them dry completely.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil to create a syrup.
  3. Once the syrup reaches a hard crack stage (around 300°F or 150°C), remove from heat.
  4. Skewer the strawberries on sticks.
  5. Dip the skewered strawberries into the syrup, allowing excess syrup to drip off.
  6. Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined tray to cool and harden before serving.

Notes

Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to help the syrup stick better. Use a candy thermometer for perfect results.
