Ugly Dip

  • Author: Chef Grace

Description

It may not be the prettiest dip at the party, but it’s the tastiest! Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor. 🧀

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 lb Ground Sausage (cooked and crumbled)
  • Jalapeños (optional)
  • 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • Seasoning (garlic powder, paprika, salt)

Instructions

  • Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). While it’s heating, grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • Cook the Sausage: In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  • Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar. Stir until smooth.
  • Add the Flavor: Fold in the cooked sausage, diced jalapeños, chopped tomatoes, and your choice of seasonings. Mix until evenly distributed.
  • Assemble and Bake: Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish. Sprinkle a little extra shredded cheese on top for that golden, bubbly finish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks. Trust me, this dip will disappear fast!
